Challenge
The insurance provider needed to modernize their network infrastructure by replacing legacy Layer 2 switches that had reached End of Life (EoL) and End of Sale (EoS) status. This nationwide implementation required deploying non-PoE switches across its branch offices nationwide within strict timelines.
Results
The successful deployment of 24-Port and 8-Port non-PoE Switches provided ample connectivity for offices with more devices. This strategic combination of 24-Port and 8-Port L2 Switch allowed the organization to optimize its network infrastructure based on the unique needs of each location, resulting in improved network efficiency. The increased port density across the board ensured seamless connectivity and the ability to accommodate future growth without compromising performance.
Solution Deployed
HFCL deployed 2,394 units of 24-port and 525 units of 8-port non-PoE switches across the branch offices. These switches provided increased Ethernet ports allowing seamless connectivity for a growing number of devices without compromising network performance.
