Challenge
The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 presented unique challenges, including managing network congestion in high-density zones, delivering reliable Wi-Fi connectivity across a vast area, and ensuring the smooth functioning of both Wi-Fi and cellular networks. The event also required the implementation of comprehensive surveillance infrastructure to ensure safety while supporting the high data demands of millions of visitors.
Results
With our large scale event Wi-Fi solution, attendees experienced seamless internet connectivity with minimal service disruptions and high-speed access. The connectivity solution delivered impressive performance with significant growth in data consumption throughout the event duration. The network successfully supported hundreds of thousands of concurrent users during peak days while maintaining consistent service quality through effective peak load network management. The integrated event security infrastructure provided comprehensive coverage, while the UBR technology for backhaul effectively supported the high data demands throughout the entire Maha Kumbh Mela.
